2025 is all wrapped up!
I would like to take a moment in this newsletter to go over some of the highlights from the year and to thank all of my supporters. There are many new adventures and goals for the coming year, but first I want to debrief 2025. This was an eventful year, so let me break it down for you.

What’s Happening?
Audrey, Violet and I began 2025 on the road, with a three-month RV trip through Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada and back. We checked off six National Parks during our trip and countless other beautiful campsites and views. I had the opportunity to train with new groups, and we made loads of new friends.
Shortly after returning to Columbia, I started a new job as a Production Associate for the aquatic engineering firm Counsilman-Hunsaker. While undergoing my training into that position, I was tapering for US Nationals. I had a fantastic competition, setting multiple new best times and qualifying for the World University Games in Berlin, Germany. At that meet, I came away with two golds from some of my most inspired swimming to date.
While we were in Europe, Audrey, my mom and I spent some time in Amsterdam admiring the exquisite architecture and museums while wandering the canals. With the successful summer of swimming behind me, I put a larger focus on getting more comfortable in my job and preparing for my wedding.
On October 5th, Audrey and I were married in Minneapolis, MN. Immediately following this, we moved into a new house in Columbia, MO and I raced in the Swimming World Cup. That ended in Toronto, Canada, so Audrey and I spent the following week RVing around the great lakes. We enjoyed waterfalls and spectacular overlooks on the hikes between the scenic drives along the lakeshore. Upon returning to Missouri, we got comfortable in our new home. Violet loves the big yard!
Huge shoutout to all of my sponsors and fans who have made this journey possible. I would not have been able to experience the things I have without your support. Through all of the highs and lows you have been there for me, and I truly appreciate it. There is still a long road to LA2028, so I am going to need all the help I can get to make the Olympic dream a reality. Thank you for making 2025 so special!
Looking Ahead
I will be competing at the Pro Swim Series in Austin, TX from January 14th-17th. You can catch the action on USA Swimming Network and Peacock TV.
Every workout dating back to July of 2017 has been written down in one of my journals. I love my collection of leatherbound books!
